Vahe Gurzadyan
Mathematical approaches to the universe’s great questions
Vahe, or Vahagn, Gurzadyan is an Armenian mathematical physicist and cosmologist, born in Yerevan in 1955. He graduated from Yerevan State University in 1977 and developed his scientific career at the Yerevan Physics Institute.
His research concerns cosmology, gravitation and the dynamics of stellar systems. He combines mathematical models with astronomical data to investigate the structure of the universe and possible mechanisms underlying its evolution.
Gurzadyan has participated in international collaborations, taught and published scientific papers and books. His work brings theoretical physics into dialogue with observational astronomy, using data to discuss and test scientific hypotheses.
