Culture news • October 2026
Armenia’s education and culture ministry announced that 170 communities had joined the initiative for the International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage on 17 October, Armenpress reported on 13 October.
The news invites a more personal question: what does your family know how to do? A tune, a recipe or a way of telling a story needs someone willing to share it and someone willing to listen.
Choose one skill you would miss if it disappeared. Write down its steps, ask a relative about its meaning, or record a story with their permission. Heritage becomes easier to understand when we can name the person who taught us.
